Layout compose
Each section has a small Layout handle. Arming Layout on a widget shows that widget’s sticky bar only (exclusive with Content on the same or another widget — one arm at a time). Region + is available whenever you are logged in with edit chrome — including empty pages with no widgets yet.
You rearrange widgets in page content regions only — header, global nav, and other site chrome are not drag targets.
Widget types (common)

| Listing | Rows from an entity (articles, events, …) — not a handmade grid of pages. |
| Navigation (Cards) | In-page link tiles to other pages. Same Navigation widget as the header menu, with template Cards — pick pages in the tree; not a listing of records and not pasted HTML. |
Pack types (contact, …) appear in + after you enable the pack.
Add a block
- In a region, click + (empty regions show a short label: Hero / Left / Main / Right).
- Pick a type.
- For Listing, choose an entity from the site list.
- Arm Content on that section to fill fields.
Reorder / move / remove
On a Layout-armed section bar:
- ↑ / ↓ — reorder within the region
- Region — move to another page region
- Bleed — full-bleed when the theme supports it
- ✕ — remove from the page (confirm)
- Done — disarm Layout (also: second click on ⊞, or Esc)
Locked page parts show a lock affordance and disable destructive moves.
Listing bar (Template / Filter / Fields)
Arm ⊞ on a listing. Controls that apply to this widget only (except schema):

| Fields | Which entity fields appear in the list (and on detail when Detail is on). Does not change the entity schema. |
| Edit schema | Opens the site-wide entity schema (same as Hub → Entities). |

Richtext bar
With ✎ on a richtext section:

Links and text selection stay usable until you arm ✎. Prefer theme classes over pasting layout HTML.
Footer / chrome
Header menu and footer (when the theme wires them as Navigation) use the same Content-handle tree editor as the main nav — not a hub slide. See Pages & navigation.
