Contact form

Optional contact pack: a guest form (name, email, message) that emails a destination address.

Enable and place

  1. Hub → Site → Packs & capabilities — Install & enable contact (and mail if it is not already on).
  2. After enable, edit chrome may offer Place contact form — follow the offer, or use region + and pick contact.
  3. Guests see the form on that page. Submissions go out through the mail pack.

Destination and copy

The form needs a destination email (to). Button label, subject, and success message are part of the same widget config. There is no separate “Contact settings” hub slide — set them when placing the widget, or ask the assistant to set the destination to the inbox you want.

If mail is missing or not deliverable, guests will not get a working send on a live site.

Mail on live

Same rules as forgot-password:

  1. Enable mail under Site.
  2. Set a real From address in the yellow edit-session notice (e.g. Site Name <noreply@example.com>).
  3. On a live site, mail must actually send — log-only is refused.
