First session (live site)

You inherited a site that is already online. This page is the shortest safe start.

  1. Open /login on your site (or the footer Log in chip if present).
  2. Use the username and password your operator gave you.
  3. You return to the page you came from (or home). The hub appears when your role allows it.

Forgot password needs deliverable mail — see Log in & roles.

Editor vs admin

RoleWhat you will see
EditorRecords, Account, Help (and often LLM chat). Content / Layout handles on pages you can edit. No Pages, Entities, Site, or Backup unless someone granted them.
AdminThose plus Pages, Entities, Site, Backup, and admin record pages such as Users.

Missing hub items usually mean your role — not a broken site. If you do not see Pages, you are almost certainly an editor.

Do not flip Live

Hub → Site → Live site is an admin flag for production behaviour (default admin password refused; log-only mail forbidden). Leave it alone unless you are the operator who owns hosting and mail.

Checkpoint before risky edits

Before a big layout change or a batch of assistant changes:

  1. Open Hub → Backup.
  2. Take checkpoint.

Restoring a checkpoint is the fast undo for the database and user CSS. Uploads are not in checkpoints — see Checkpoint & backup.

Edit copy where visitors see it

  1. Browse to the page you want to change.
  2. Click that section’s ✎ (Edit content).
  3. Change the text or fields; Save when you mean it. Richtext: Done finishes the section; Cancel discards that field only.

Use ⊞ (Edit layout) only when you need to move, add, or remove sections. Region + adds a block.
